Impermanence

...posted on 307knoxrecords.blogspot.com by KG.

With the recent events at Virginia Tech, we have all been reminded of how fleeting life can be. In these moments of life and death, this when we need to reflect and be thankful for the goodness that we do have in life now in this moment. I am thankful for my family, friends, a stable home life, and a job. I could go on and list more things but these are the things that help me make it through life.

Let's not forget all those people who are also dying from the ravages of war and genocide. Our life can be as brief as flash of lightning in the sky or as long as it would take a turtle to walk from Florida to Maine. We never know how long we will be on this earth. So, let's all take a moment be thankful for what we have right now; and then send good thoughts to all those families that have just lost their loved ones so randomly. Keep in mind for yourself and others, that no matter what form loss takes in peoples lives it is always hard to swallow. Peace.

Thank you to everyone who has been so supportive over the last few weeks. If we have not said thank you...then thank you.

Mel~
