Show #4 Traveling with Technology-Mobility

Hey,

Thanks for tuning in on Sunday. Thanks to all the callers, too.

We did not play our new theme song this week. However we will next week.

Suggestion by Kim... have Beloved Binge write/record a Tech Notes Theme Song. After Further Review has a cool, kicking theme song. It is stuck in my head right now.

We chatted about next week's topic...Traveling with Technology-Mobility. It impacts us all! More to come on that subject.

Show #3-April 22 12:00-1:00 pm on WCOM 103.5

Say cheese...........

Ok so Scott has not chimed in yet but I would like to take on the subject of digital cameras. Talk a bit about the base-line models, upgrades, basic elements to understand before you buy and how they work. Where is this technology going? Into phones, toys and other gadgets. Oohhh spy pen on Gadget Universe

Good sites to learn more about digital cameras, quality and brands:

http://www.dpreview.com/
find reviews of digital cameras

http://www.imaging-resource.com/
see actual photos taken by many brands

http://www.photographyreview.com/defaultcrx.aspx
do side by side feature reviews of a camera you might want to purchase

http://www.shortcourses.com/
short courses on how to use your camera, text heavy but useful

http://www.megapixel.net/html/cover.php
in both English and French this is my fav site to see photos and the actual camera with price that took the photo. This monthly web magazine features good introductory articles to digital photography, a searchable glossary and digital camera reviews.

http://www.steves-digicams.com/Steve has compiled an impressive array of manufacturer links, reviews, breaking news stories and other online resources.
